Cumnor is an English civil parish within the district of Vale of White Horse and the county of Oxfordshire
Cumnor Parish lies 3.5 miles away from Oxford City in Oxfordshire. It has several communities with distinct and unique identities ranging from the more rural feel of Farmoor, with its close links to the water based activities of Farmoor Reservoir and the rural environment that it sits within; to the closely knit community of Dean Court with its successful mix of affordable and privately owned housing and a thriving hub at Dean Court Community centre. The small village of Cumnor (approx 500 houses) sits at the heart of the Parish and is a designated Conservation Area. It is an extremely diverse parish, and yet manages to bring together all of these communities through its strong primary school, its churches, local voluntary organisations and community projects.
